My New Baby Granddaughter, Autumn Kay Drew.

How does ones birthday get better?

When you get to hold a brand new baby in your arms and that baby is your granddaughter.

Autumn Kay Drew was born on November 19th at 8:20pm, weighing 6lbs 14oz and sporting a mop of dark hair!
She was born at Alta View Hospital to my son Bradley Drew and his girlfriend, Breanna Lewis.

Proud daddy Brad holding his beautiful daughter, Autumn x

Seren, Carys and I went to see baby Autumn the day after she came into this world.

Holding such a delicate little bundle in my arms was the best gift and brought back plenty of memories of when I gave birth to all of my 7 children! How time flies.

Last night Nov 24th Brad, Bree and baby Autumn stopped by for a visit

Seren loves to sings and took no time in trying to comfort Autumn.

Just adorable x

Another Year Older.

When does having a birthday become a dread?
When you know your getting older and the excitement one has as a child the night before and when you wake up on your birthday expires when you pass age 30.

The years creep up on you and before you know it,  your not looking forward to the special day.
If your like me, you even conjure up amazing gifts you only dream of. And you find yourself having to give a list of what you would like.

Sometimes that list you gave gets some gifts checked off, other times no.

This year, with  money tight as we are saving every spare penny for our down payment for our new home. So, gifts from hubby are on the sparse side. But I did get plenty of gifts actually.

I did get some great Dvd sets:
Blade 4 movie set - from my hubby
Lethal Weapon 4 movie set - from my daughter Jade
The Mummy Trilogy - From money I got from my mother in law
A gift card from brother in law which I purchased two writing books and the Dvd movie,
Also from my daughter Jade I got a great gift. Knowing how much I like the Actor
Tom Hiddleston she got me a journal with  quotes by Tom inside! Sweet gift I must say :)

Then my hubby and kids went our for dinner to
Red Robin restaurant

Then we came home and enjoyed cheesecake for my dessert and watched the first installment of Back to The Future - which the girls loved.

                                              YUM!

Halloween 2015

I seem to be catching up these days with my blogging! Last weekend was the day in which we don our most scariest or cutest costumes we can get and we celebrate All Hallows Eve - Halloween.

For us the weekend of festivities started on Thursday in which we had our church ward Halloween party.

Yes! I did dress up!
The hat I made for my last wards Relief Society's T- Party.
All I did for to change up the hat was add a few Halloween colors and a couple of bats!

Friday then was Seren's school Halloween  parade, followed by going to Jason's works trick and treat at his work place.

Paisley is my 2nd granddaughter
Carys is my 7th child and  number 6 daughter!

Then came Saturday and we spent the day out and about and at a Kmart the girls saw a fire engine and quickly wanted a picture only to be surprised when a fire fighter climbed out of the engine and asked if they'd like to sit in the front seat! That made their day.

The the day turned into the night in which millions of children and adults that accompany them as they walk for hours trick or treating their neighborhoods. Then return cold and aching feet but with filled baskets of sweets and chocolate to eat!
